Space booking works better together with wayfinding

After booking a room, employees tap once in the mobile app to get turn-by-turn navigation to it. The room is found before the meeting starts, not after it was supposed to.

Space booking and device health, connected.

A room that is booked should also be a room where the AV works. When Athena IAM detects a device issue in a meeting room, the room can be automatically flagged as unavailable, the original booking is moved, and the employee is notified with an alternative.

Does it integrate with Outlook and Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Athena Space Booking integrates with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange, and Zoom. Bookings sync across calendars so employees can manage meetings from the tools they already use.

Can admins restrict which rooms specific teams can book?

Yes. Booking permissions are fully configurable by room, zone, or building. Restrictions can be set by team, role, or approval requirement, and booking windows can be customised per space type.

What happens if a room is booked but nobody checks in?

After a configurable grace period, the system automatically releases the room and updates the panel to show it as available. The booking is marked as a no-show in the reporting dashboard.

Does the system work for spaces other than meeting rooms?
